Install pypy:

# apt install pypy

Download the pip installer script from https://bootstrap.pypa.io/get-pip.py

$ wget https://bootstrap.pypa.io/get-pip.py

Install it using pypy:

$ pypy get-pip.py

After pip is installed and working you use it to install pyserial

$ pypy -m pip install pyserial
